We are pleased to announce that for December 2016 and January 2017, Rayya El Zein, PhD, is going to join our project as a guest of Kristin Flade. Her stay is facilitated by the generous support of the Dahlem Junior Host Program as part of the work of the Dahlem Humanities Center. Together, they will work on a project titled “Writing Palestine: (Notes) Towards an Ethnography of Political Performance”.

Festival: Really Useful Theater

From November 19th to 21st the festival "Really Useful Theater" will take place at Sophiensæle (Berlin). Under the artistic direction of Stefanie Wenner, artists, curators and researchers will come together to discuss the use and value of art. On Saturday, November 21st, 4pm, The Aesthetics of Applied Theatre hosts a panel discussion and table dialogues with international guests.
